I've just gotten back from Laine and Kim's place and OH MY LORD. I left the house a little before 7 this evening and it was just starting to snow in earnest. It'd been snowing all day but at 7 it started to get serious about it. When I left Laine and Kim's, (about 20 minutes ago) there were, I kid you not, between four and six inches of new snow covering my car. Driving home was a surreal experience and I'm absolutely positive that there were times where my car wasn't touching pavement, just snow. It's OCTOBER, folks! OK, technically November, but STILL FALL! This is zany!
In other news, I had a really nice night. Laine and Kim are wonderful roommates and I love the feeling of just being relaxed and happy. And that's what I felt tonight.
I don't know why, but I am so comfortable in other peoples beds. I spent probably two hours tonight, lying on Laine's bed, while she played on the computer and Kim wandered in and out and I was so so so relaxed.
That said, I'm going to capatalize on that relaxation and go to sleep.
