November 21, 2002 - 4:19 p.m. Never ever ever ever again will I live with a boy that I don't love with my whole soul. I've spent the past three hours sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, scouring, washing, and I'm so done with it! My roommate's parents, sisters and Anthony are coming into town tonight to see her in A Chorus Line, which is quite enjoyable, and then they're coming back here for dinner and our house previously looked like pigs lived in it. Granted I am not the cleanliest of all cleanly people. You might go so far as to call me a little bit sloppy. But I understand that when parents come, you want your dwelling place to look nice. You want to prove to your parents that they raised you right and that there is not in fact, fungus growing on the pots that you intend to cook them dinner in. And so, I've washed three loads THREE LOADS of dishes NONE of which were mine, or Ella's, taken out two loads of recycling, beer bottles to be precise, and Ella and I don't DRINK, I've been cleaning the bathroom, which I cleaned last week, by the way, I've been getting my room presentable, so Ella's sister can sleep on a bed instead of a hard wood floor, I've been mopping the kitchen floor, which my BOY roommate, we'll call him Mike and his friend have traipsed over FOUR times, Mike's friend, Paul has a cute but energetic and destructive dog, Timber who has wrecked my efforts on more than one occasion, and you know what? I'm pissed off. I don't WANT to clean up after other people. It's not even just Mike, it's his friends! His girlfriends! And I'm pissed off about it! I understand that things get busy and you can let things get out of hand sometimes, but he's sitting downstairs right now, playing the mandolin and I'm slaving away. Well, obviously, I'm not at this EXACT moment, because I'm talking to you, but dude, I'm pissed off. I had two tests this week, I worked, I had a hotline shift, I've got finals coming up, I've got a big paper due on Tuesday, it's not like I've not got anything to do with my time! GARH! RAWR! AND! He's got this friend, Paul, staying here from Colorado Springs, and he's got another friend coming in from Chicago tonight, I don't know what's going to happen with that, because Ella's sister, Rachel and Anthony are sleeping here tonight! And our kitten, Memphis is getting fixed and she's coming home tomorrow and I don't want her around Timber after having surgery! I just feel really used, and like he doesn't consider how we feel at all. RAWR! OK. I have to go now. Finish cleaning.
